Hi all! We know these are uncertain times, so to help here are guidelines of how to attend a wedding expo in the midst of Covid-19.
We have our wedding expo coming up on Sunday, July 19, 2020. With being under phase 2 in the state of North Carolina we are social distancing and implementing covid-19 safety procedures. As a place of business we’ve even completed the Count On Me NC back when it was launched. On top of what we’re covering on our end, here are some tips and tricks as an attendee:
1. Wear a mask (make it trendy)
Mask are now mandated and we expect attendees to wear them. We have seen so many creative masks out there for brides and grooms! Think of these as the modern day “bride-to-be” sash. Etsy is one of our top places to shop for masks. This also helps those who may have been put out of a job during these times. One super awesome idea we’ve seen is where a bride used bits of her mother and grandmother’s dress and created a mask to wear on her big day!
2. Bring address labels
Many vendors may have sign-up sheets or collect your information to send you packaging, pricing, or follow up with a booking. Address labels are a great tip regardless. Makes visiting each vendor so much easier because you won’t have to worry about any typos and spend more time conversating than writing. Labels help avoid touching surfaces or pens others may have touch.
3. Pens & paper
If address labels are not feasible, bring your own pen. Make it pink, purple, or glittery to really make yourself stand out to vendors. Bring your own notebook or wedding planning binder to collect information. This also gives you a professional flair and one-up on your planning game.
4. Sanitation is key
Bring some good smelling sanitizer to keep yourself and the wedding party clean and happy! We will have sanitation stations located all around the grounds and inside the barn. Bathrooms will be stocked with high quality foaming hand soaps.
5. 6ft of separation
Keeping the distance between you and others will help with the prevention of transferring germs. The layout of the expo will be staged so vendors and walkways are 6ft apart from each other. Majority of our vendors will be staged outside at faux ceremony locations to prevent any gathering inside where the food is located. We have also placed “X’s” 6ft from each other, where lines could potentially form.

Tickets are $10 now and will be $15 at the door. We accept cash or card. Can’t wait to see you at the barn!
