We are a family-owned business – with deep roots in our community and with proud service to our country. Mr. Eddie Lee Jones, Sr., and Mrs. Patricia B. Jones’ vision to bring an entirely unique venue to Onslow County, is the foundation for our passion to help you plan and celebrate your most important and joyous occasions.
Our wedding and event venue just outside the city limits of Jacksonville, North Carolina is the newest and largest in the area. We offer space for approximately 450 guests for expos and conferences, about 300 guests for weddings and formal events, and for outdoor events and concerts we can accommodate over 600 guests. We have a variety of locations on the property available for your special events, in addition to the Barn. Our patios, views, and outdoor pavilion, in an idyllic setting – just outside the city limits, are the perfect backdrop for your wedding or special event. We can host weddings, concerts, formal military events, corporate events, unit functions, and any of your special celebrations. Known as Miss Onslow County, Gracie Whaley, started with The Rustic Barn as an intern for course credit. Whaley assists with tours, event coordination, set up, tear down, etc. She’s always on the go and willing to help. It was apparent she had a knack for the event industry and has now become one of our Venue Coordinators.
Upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Katelyn Griffith packed her belongings and headed west on I-40. Originally born at Fort Sill, OK, Griffith lived most of her life north of the Mason Dixon before heading back to the Sooner state for college. She graduated with a bachelors degree in media communication and is a certified wedding and event planner. She has been in the event industry for 6+ years. Griffith serves as our Venue Manager and Marketing Director.
