The Rustic Barn at Half Moon merely facilitates the venue. At this time we would not be able to provide an MC, event decorations, event lighting, or any other additional service other than what is provided in our packages. To acquire one of our packages, please place an inquiry through the contact page.

The rules:

Account must be public to enter. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary. Must be 18+ and a US resident to enter. Entries are accepted until 2/16/2020 at 11:59 PM EST. One Winner will be notified no later than 2/19/2020. Winner will be chosen based on naming creativity, and relevance to our brand and style. Winner will be announced and posted on social media and via the Rustic Barn’s blog. If there are duplicates of names entered, we will enter the duplicates into a hat and pull at random.

The Chandelier is a statement piece of the barn. Every time we switch it on, our guests’ eye light up just as bright. It adds that pop of elegance to any event. With our grand opening taking place Monday, January 13, 2020, we figured we would put everything you needed to know about the opening in one place. So, here it is:

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Join us for the Grand Opening of Jacksonville’s newest & finest event venue. Tickets are no longer needed! Yes, tickets were once required but the requirement has now been nixed. Doors open at 7:00pm and the event concludes at 11:00pm. Dress attire is Carolina casual. 

Heavy Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Mission BBQ of Jacksonville. Our bar will be up and running, so be sure to bring cash (small bills preferred) or cards. The bartenders will gladly mix up one of our signature cocktails you. Also available to purchase is a various selection of wine and beer. 

For entertainment (men, listen up) we will be projecting the college football playoffs on our large projector screen; Go tigers! We will also have live music from Jacksonville’s Peace and War.  

The grand opening is a time for people to see the venue, ask questions and mingle, as well as take pictures so show off to their friends. Merchandise will also be available to purchase. There are no atms onsite, so please bring cash or card if you are planning to make a purchase from the merch table or bar.

The Rustic Barn at Half Moon is Jacksonville’s newest wedding and event venue. Located just outside the city limits of Jacksonville, in the community of Half Moon, we are situated on 149-acres of beautiful Eastern North Carolina land. We are excited to bring this state-of-the-art wedding and event venue to our community.

Mr. Eddie Lee Jones, Sr., and Mrs. Patricia B. Jones’ vision for a unique venue is the foundation for our passion to help you celebrate your most joyous occasions.

Our construction completion date is just around the corner! Our soft opening is January 13, 2020! While we plan for this fun evening, we have photos to share of our construction progress.

With numerous locations for wedding ceremonies – from the front of The Barn, to beside the pond, or under pine trees – our wedding package includes full use of The Barn and grounds. Our patio and covered pavilion offer your guests additional areas to enjoy our beautiful Eastern Carolina evenings.
